SUMMARY
CNA’s are under the supervision of a RN or LPN to perform routine patient care duties that have been delegated by a RN or LPN in the direct health care of a patient.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·Performs basic nursing skills that include: bathing, shampooing, dressing, toileting, bed making, taking vital signs, measuring weight and height, measuring fluid and nutrient intake and output, caring for the patient’s environment, walking and/or transferring the patient using proper body mechanics, assist in the provision of proper nutritional care and maintaining infection control and safety standards.
·Able to walk, stoop, climb, bend, pull and lift up to 50lbs, push and stretch.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
·Proof of inclusion on the WI Registry as a certified nursing assistant.
·Proof of current CPR Certification.
·A minimum of eight months of current nursing home or hospital experience.
·Completion of health certification, TB skin screening and immunization status.
·Completion of Caregiver Background Check.
·Reliable transportation.

SUMMARY
LPN’s care for ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled persons in hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, private homes, group homes, and similar institutions. May work under the supervision of a registered nurse.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·Observe patients, charting and reporting changes in patients' conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment, and taking any necessary action.
·Provide basic patient care and treatments, such as taking temperatures or blood pressures, dressing wounds, treating bedsores, massaging, or performing catheterizations.

·Answer patients' calls and determine how to assist them.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
